Measurements and files

The calculator processes measurements, part names, CSV files and order files in your browser. Its application code does not upload them to a server. Exported order files and printed layouts are handled by your browser and device.

Storage on your device

We use localStorage to remember the current order, including part names and measurements, under linear-cut-order-v1, and your chosen language under linear-cut-language. These values stay in this browser for this website until replaced or removed. They are not synchronised across devices or domains. If storage is unavailable, the calculator still works but cannot reliably remember your changes.

To remove saved data, clear this website's storage in your browser settings. The calculator's Reset button replaces the order with the example; it does not clear your language preference. Save an order file before clearing browser data if you want to keep your work.

Website delivery

OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare provide the website's hosting and delivery. When you request a page, these providers receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details and requested URL, and may use security cookies. Their handling of this information is described in the OpenAI privacy policy and Cloudflare privacy policy. Do not put sensitive order details in page URLs.

Advertising and analytics

This version does not load advertising or analytics scripts. A Google AdSense account verification tag and an ads.txt file identify the intended publisher; they do not by themselves load ads or send your cutting data to Google. If advertising or analytics are enabled later, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before those scripts are activated.
